Isenhower
About Us
Denise and Brett Isenhower met at an Indianapolis hospital where they both worked as pharmacists and were married in 1995. They promptly moved from Indiana to Colorado where Brett earned his M.B.A. While in school he started home-brewing.
In 1997 the wine bug infected the Isenhowers. Brett fell in love with the history of winemaking and the cultural impacts of wine on Western Civilization. He loves that a wine from a place is unique and individual. Denise agreed to join in the wine business with a caveat they would to stay in the Western United States. Brett researched every state in the West looking for the most affordable opportunity to make the best wine possible. Washington was selected and the Isenhower’s landed in Walla Walla in April 1998 because it is the prettiest town in Eastern Washington.
The Isenhower’s started making wine in 1999. They picked up winemaking tips from UC Davis short courses, voraciously read many winemaking textbooks, listened to smart winemakers, and learned quickly from their own mistakes.

i-Label
About Us
The i-Label wines are hand-crafted wines made by Denise and Brett Isenhower that are exclusively for sale in restaurants and wine retailers. These wines are made from high quality and high value grapes from the Columbia Valley. The red wines are aged in neutral French Oak barrels for 12 to 16 months prior to bottling. The Viognier and Roussanne is fermented and aged in a combination of neutral French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. The Sangiovese Rosé is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
Currently the i-Label wines feature Sangiovese Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Red Blend, Roussanne, Syrah, and Viognier.
